Dr Roger Robinson has been a Consultant Orthodontist for over 30 years – you can trust in his experience and he is driven to achieve the very best results for his patients.
Roger qualified as a dentist from Bristol University. After spending some time in general practice, he embarked on specialist training in orthodontics, obtaining the Diploma in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a MSc (Orthodontics) from the University of London. He was appointed to the post of Consultant in Orthodontics at Torbay and Derriford, Plymouth hospitals in 1986. On retiring from Derriford Hospital he was appointed as visiting Consultant Orthodontist to the States of Guernsey. Active in teaching, he is a Small Group Facilitator at the Plymouth University Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry and SW Devon Postgraduate Tutor with Health Education England. He still enjoys treating orthodontic patients whilst maintaining active interests in guitar playing, choral singing (a member of two choirs and conductor of a third). He has recently started to learn to play the trombone. He also enjoys walking, rowing and swimming and sometimes finds time to potter in the garden!
